BOOK WITH BUNTY AND THEN JUST RELAX
We spent four brief but busy days in India, with Amit as our driver/guide. From the moment we wrote to Bunty to book a car, to the smooth pick up at the airport and then four days in Delhi and Agra, everything went very smoothly to plan. It completely eradicated the stress that India can be. Amit was great, always cheerful and conversational, and particularly helpful at recommending us Indian dishes to try, or good places to eat. We were sad to leave India but had an amazing time, and I would recommend anyone and everyone to book with Bunty and then just relax!
SO MUCH BETTER THAN A LARGE TOUR
The best way to see the Taj. Bunty was very helpful and accommodating in sending his brother (Amit) to fetch me at the airport at 3AM and then drive me directly to the Taj. Amit found me a local guide for a great price and then the day was mine to see what I wanted on my own schedule. So much better than a large tour! I would recommend Bunty and Amit to anyone coming in for a one day trip (like me) for several weeks or anything in between. They are flexible, professional, and very accommodating at a reasonable price.
WE COULD ALWAYS COUNT ON OUR DRIVER DEEPAK
We made a tour of 28 days to Rajasthan and Agra, Khajuraho and Varanasi in December/2008/2009 with Deepak. First of all, the itinerary was planned well by Bunty. Deepak was a very good driver and always guided us carefully (in the sometimes crazy traffic of India) to our location. He helped us find the right hotels and guesthouses and always helped us with our choice. Also, we could always count on him when we wanted to have dinner somewhere late in the evening, or wanted to leave very early in the morning. He always made sure he was on time and arranged that the car was clean again. Very nice! Moreover it was very important to us, that he always made sure that we were not brought to shops when we didn't want to and warned us about hassling situations. Namaste Bunty, We have been back in Australia for 6 days and we are already thinking about our next trip back. We cannot praise Suresh enough for how wonderfully he looked after us while we travelling around. When we first saw his smiling face waiting for us at the airport we knew we were in good hands. From beginning to end, Suresh displayed a very high standard of care and attention for all 4 of us. His driving is amazing and we felt safe at all times without exception. He always gave us good information on where to find safe food, ATM's, places of special interest, shopping etc, anything that we required. We are very pleased to recommend India Private Drivers as first choice for anyone wishing to travel in India. My husband and I will definitely be return customers in the future and will request Suresh as our driver again. INDEPENDENT GROUP TRAVEL WAS POSSIBLE THANKS TO BUNTY AND KAMUD
We were a party of six in 2008 wishing to tour the 'Golden Triangle' with extra time in Rajasthan, before moving south to Kerala. We found Bunty from the Web with many glowing client references and contacted him by email. He replied immediately and suggested an 8 day itinerary. He was very patient despite our frequently changed plans and replied promptly to all our email requests with excellent English. He was able to suggest alternative hotels when our choice was unavailable - they proved equally fantastic. Bunty organised his colleague Kumud to drive us. He was brilliant, with his knowledge of the area second to none. He was courteous, patient and flexible, and above all his driving was safe on the manic Indian roads. Kumud collected us from the airport in a 9 seater mini bus which was very spacious and comfortable for six travellers plus luggage. We had a 'Bus Boy' at all times who looked after our possessions whilst we were away from the bus during the trip, and replenished our ice box with drinks as necessary. Kumud got us to all the major sites and cities with ease and organised knowledgeable local guides for us on arrival. Changes to our travel arrangements on our return North from Kerala, required a rapid transfer time to the International Terminal. We asked Bunty and Kumud for help and they stepped up to assist us and facilitate a successful stress free transfer. I have no hesitation in recommending Bunty & Kumud to those intending to undertake independent travel in India. Many thanks from all of us.
BUNTY AND AMIT WENT ABOVE & BEYOND
I have just returned from a vacation in northern India, which was made all the more special thanks to Bunty and his brother Amit. I contacted Bunty a month before my trip, having read good reviews about him on the Thorn Tree forum. He provided helpful feedback on my plans. He and arranged for his brother Amit to serve as our driver. Amit was wonderful! He safely navigated through the chaotic traffic conditions and gave us sound advice about dealing with touts and bargaining for purchases. He enriched our experience by sharing stories about the culture and traditions, and recommended things for us to see and do at each of our destinations. It was a pleasure to spend time with Amit; he has a warm and engaging personality and a good sense of humor. In every way, Amit was committed to ensuring that we had a good experience and that our needs were met. On our last day, he waited with us at the train station for the overnight train to Varanasi, and negotiated with a porter to check in on us and help us find our way to the right compartment. He even asked us to text message him upon our arrival in Varanasi, wanting to know for certain that we had arrived there safely. In a place that felt so different to us, it was wonderful to know that Amit was watching out for us and willing to do whatever it took for us to be happy and comfortable. Over the two weeks we spent in India and Nepal, we had several other drivers. I have to say that Amit was by far the best driver we had; I'd go so far as to say he sets the gold standard for what a driver should be! SEE SOME OF THE REAL INDIA, NOT JUST THE TOURIST SITES
Dear Bunty, we would like to thank you for arranging our vacation in Northern India. We were delighted with the services of Deepak who successfully navigated us through traffic that would have otherwise seemed impossible. His skill was a never-ending source of wonder and amazement. He got us everywhere we wanted to go, and many places we would not have known about. He showed us some of the real India, not just the tourist sites. The guides that he arranged in some places were most helpful. Deepak was always on time and had an amazing knack for finding us at the end of an expedition. He also has a good knowledge of where to get things. Rearranging part of our trip he took in his stride. We were most grateful for his kindness and consideration on the trip. He became a friend.
FROM THE FIRST DAY, I KNEW WE’D MADE A GOOD DECISION WHEN WE CHOSE TO TRAVEL WITH INDIA PRIVATE DRIVER
We have just returned from a wonderful stay in India and the private driving tour we booked with Bunty stands out as the highlight of our time there. We contacted Bunty via email and we were immediately impressed with how professionally and promptly he responded. We read the excellent references on his website, and also Lonely Planet and India Mike forums. From the first day in Varanasi when he picked us up, I knew we were in excellent hands and we had made a very good decision. Bunty is a very safe and courteous driver, speaks excellent English and has a terrific sense of humour! For two and a half weeks we drove from Varanasi – Agra – Delhi – Jaipur – Pushkar – Udaipur – Jodphur – Jaisalmer – Bikaner - Amritsar - Delhi. A hectic schedule, but with a good driver like Bunty, the long hours in the car never felt like a chore. Bunty was very patient with our endless requests to stop for chai, food and photos and always happy to answer (my) never-ending questions about India. Nothing was ever too much trouble. He was always on time to pick us up and always stayed in communication with us via SMS. We always felt very safe in his hands and trusted him 100%. Rachael, David and myself would not hesitate to recommend Bunty as your driver in India. And I would like to personally thank Bunty for being a true friend, for looking after us so well on our drive and wish him all the best both professionally and personally.
IT WAS THE IDEAL INTRODUCTION TO INDIA
Suresh was unfailingly polite and good humoured, always on time (which can't be easy with Indian city traffic to contend with), and was very helpful. It was great travelling with someone from India who knew all the best places to go, and who could make recommendations and also answer my questions about what it is like living in India. As a woman travelling alone for the first time, it was the ideal introduction to India. I always felt safe, and I had absolute confidence in Suresh's driving skills, whatever was thrown at him on the roads! I wouldn't hesitate to recommend your company to others, and would definitely consider using your company again on my return to India (which I think is inevitable!).
GOOD THINGS OFTEN COME IN SMALL SIZES
I had come across Bunty's travel agency by chance while browsing travel websites. They are a small tour operator but with vast experience and equally bigger service commitment. His operations might be small but his service is on par with operations of larger tour operators and yet have the personalized feel that you come to expect from a small tour operator. I had initially recommended a family member to use this travel agency and he was not disappointed . I had the opportunity this year (October, 2009) to avail his services for touring Delhi and Agra along with four friends. Bunty had assigned Prem Singh as the driver and Prem was a true professional--punctual, polite, courteous, helpful, and knowledgeable. When traveling a new country, two things that are of paramount importance is security and trust, and within few moments of interacting with Bunty and his associates, one gets a feeling that the right choice was made. One thing I liked the most about this travel agency is that there are no unexpected charges at the end of the journey. I have availed the services of well-known travel agencies before but after my latest trip, Bunty will always be my first choice for North India.

We arranged our car and driver through Bunty very last minute. We are independent travelers who seldom do much advance planning. Instead of this being an obstacle, Bunty made our arrangements in less than 30 minutes and called us back with a confirmation in 10 minutes. We were very impressed. He was very straightforward, answered all of our detailed questions, and was easily understood in all of our communications. While Bunty was not personally available, he did arrange a very capable driver who took us on an 11 day tour of Rajasthan. WE WERE IN GOOD HANDS
I have been able to travel through Rajasthan in 2009, with my American collegue Susanne. She has made an extensive search on private drivers, and finally we came to the conclusion that Bunty was the best bet. We were very pleased to see, that he himself was the one to drive us around, although we understood that his collegues are equally reliable. We had a very precise plan in our mind, but Bunty was able to influence it with his good suggestions. We felt very safe in his car, it was like a safe haven for us during our trip. Rajasthan was very exciting, but sometimes very crasy place to be. It was very pleasant to get into his car and feel that we were in good hands.
